Hundreds of people packed the field house to honor A.J Robertson.
Robertson's grandson took the last shot in the field house commemorating the contribution's A.J. made to the Bradley community.

"I know that he's looking down now thankful for all your memories and mine," said William "Corky" Robertson.

The field house which was built in 1946 will be demolished next month.
A new athletic performance center will be constructed and is expected to be completed by the spring of 2010.

Bradley's campus will continue to honor the late A.J Robertson by re–naming Maplewood Avenue south of University Street after him.

I remember as a young boy listening to the Bradly and Cincinnati basketball games at the field house. A lot of memories there for local athletic fans.
