A Tazewell County court judge set bond today for two men involved in a chase with authorities Monday evening after they allegedly robbed a Pekin store.

The van driver 35-year old Brian Pringle of Abingdon is charged with armed robbery, criminal damage to property, aggravated fleeing and driving on a revoked license. His bond was set at 225-thousand dollars.

The passenger, 23-year-old Joshua Thomas of Marquette Heights was also charged with armed robbery, resisting arrest, obstruction of justice, illegal transportation of alcohol. Bond for Thomas was set at 250-thousand dollars.

Police say both men robbed Beck's store in Pekin and fled the scene. Authorities chased them into Morton where they were caught.

They are both scheduled back in court April 24th.
