Illinois' senior Senator is expressing frustration with the Bush administration's view of the economy.

Dick Durbin says the president's promise to veto a housing crisis bill is irresponsible.

Durbin admits Congress is not likely to come up with a plan to stop the huge default on mortgages that can withstand a presidential veto.
