Bloomington City officials have a new ranking to work with as they promote their city...it and Normal, together, have been named one of the Smartest Cities in the United States.
Forbes dot Com is giving the Bloomington-Normal area the title of the 20th Smartest City in the U-S.
Some area residents say they are not the least bit shocked by the news.
"It's not surprising to hear that we would be so high on the list; because we have two universities there I think people come to those Universities and like Bloomington-Normal. And like to stay but you also have some employers that encourage people to have degrees" says Chuck Stuckey.
Forbes dot Com named Boulder, Colorado as the smartest city in the U-S.
