Sky-high gas prices are taking a big bite out of one local business.

Penny Underhill operates a mobile dog grooming business.

She drives to four or five houses a day around Peoria to pretty-up pets.

But, she has not raised her rates in two years and it's starting to take a toll.

Underhill said, "I've been more creative with trying to keep the route super-tight. I know we're all in this together. I hate to raise my prices on my clients because they're so loyal to me and they're paying it at the pump also."

Underhill gets 6 miles to the gallon in her truck and spends nearly $250 a week to fill-up.

She's started turning down clients because of where they live.
