McDaniel is the manager of leasing at Country Insurance and Financial Services in Bloomington.

Almost a year ago... he put down a deposit... 99 dollars for the new car.
"I just thought the car was very interesting and would sell out quickly.
Last I knew they were going to produce 25 thousand the first year and they already had 30 thousand reservations."

The purchase set McDaniel back around 15 thousand dollars.

He says the car looks small from the outside but once you are inside he says there is plenty of room.
