Going green is an on-going theme that environmentalists hope catches on. In East Peoria, Sierra Club Members explain what can be done in a home to make it energy efficient.

Bob and Diane Jorgensen have changed everything from their showerheads to outlets to cut down on electricity usage, but there are also steps with your refrigerator that won't cost a dime.

Sierra Club member Kiersten Sheets said, "Just by taking your vacuum cleaner and sticking your vacuum cleaner underneath there and vacuuming some of the dust off the coils your saving electricity."
