The Peoria Park District's Sommer Park Will present an authentic Blacksmith Hammer-In at their recreated mid 19th century blacksmith shop.

Join blacksmith enthusiasts from across the state as they spend a weekend learning a new skill or picking up tips from other blacksmiths! A guest blacksmith will demonstrate his skill on the bellows-operated stone forge. Activities include blacksmith equipment tailgate sales, iron-in-the-hat auction and the opportunity to interact with fellow blacksmiths.

The fee includes the blacksmith dinner on Sat. night.
