Despite a tough year for the company, the Caterpillar Foundation is making a generous pledge to the United Way's holiday fundraising efforts. Together with Caterpillar employees both past and present, the foundation is donating and impressive 11.5 million dollars to the campaign. That amount includes donations, as well as a dollar-for-dollar matching grant from the foundation.

CityLink GM to retire in December

PEORIA, Ill. -- CityLink's General Manager will head back north come Jan. 1. Al Stanek, 66, announced Tuesday he will retire at the end of 2016 to move back to his native Wisconsin. Stanek became General Manager in February 2015. Stanek has represented the mass transit service in recent contract negotiations with the bus drivers' union.
