On Bradley and Truitt in Chillicothe there is some significant flooding from the rain today.   The level of water is hard to measure because of all the heavy rains, but it is at least ankle deep and as high as knee deep in certain areas.  Road crews have closed off portions of this area of Chillicothe until the water comes down.  Unfortunately, this is not the only area havin...

    Peoria Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert Saturday evening, approx. 9:17PM, around the 2700 block of West Wyoming. Further calls and reports of a male suffering a gunshot wound lead them to the intersection of Wyoming and Oregon, where they found that male victim. Police say that victim had an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound to the chest and died at the scene.  This shooting would be the city's 4th homicide. The investigation is ongoing.
