Jeff Muniz grew up in Collinsville, Ill., just across the Mississippi river from St. Louis. He is now happy to join some relatives in Central Illinois. Jeff began his broadcasting career while in high school covering Friday night football and basketball as a radio reporter for WRYT-AM in Edwardsville, Ill. He went on to obtain a degree in journalism and a minor in meteorology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. While there he worked as a reporter, producer, and photographer at KOMU-TV for two years. Jeff joined the News 25 Team in June 2001 as producer. He has since moved into reporter and weekend co-anchor duties. When away from the station, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife Bliss, new baby girl Mary Kate and dog Selena. Jeff also finds himself busy working on his Broadcast Meteorology degree from Mississippi State University. Jeff's hobbies include golfing, softball, tennis, soccer, and watching just about any sport.
