Chicago native Garry Moore is a news anchor and senior producer of News 25 Today, Central Illinois' first and highest rated morning news show. After graduating from Bradley University, Garry started his reporting career as a reporter and eventual news director for WXCL-AM in Peoria, a country/western radio station.
Garry's journalism and musical career have taken him to South Africa, Ghana, Senegal, The Gambia, The Dominican Republic, Cuba, Brazil, and Haiti.
A highly regarded storyteller, drummer, and cultural arts presenter, Garry has appeared at central Ilinois schools, camps, workshops, businesses, and prisons.
Garry is a writer and producer of several successful theatre arts productions, including "Black to the Future," "Dancing My Sisters Back Home," "Prior at The Pearly Gates," and "The Ghosts of Haiti."
