Syreeta Baker joined the News 25 team in March of 2007. She previously worked as a general assignment bureau reporter in Clarksville, Tennessee. Syreeta graduated in May 2005 from West Chester University. During her college tenure she was the Sports Editor of her school newspaper along with serving as the mult-cultural affairs senator for the Student Government Association.

Syreeta fell in love with the television industry in the Summer of 2004 while working at WTXF Fox 29 as their Sports and "Good Day Philadelphia" Intern. She says One of her proudest moments in her career is getting the job as WEEK's new reporter. In her free time she loves to volunteer, ice skate and read, but above all else talk on the phone.
