Michelle Mantel joined the News 25 Team in September 2007 as a Producer/Reporter. She interned with News 25 throughout the summer of 2007 with a scholarship from the Illinois News Broadcasters Association. Michelle graduated from Illinois State University in the Spring of 2007. Michelle previously worked as a reporter for Radio Bloomington's 1230 WJBC. She was also the News Director for ISU's campus radio station WZND. Michelle was also a reporter, anchor, producer, and weather personality for ISU's television station TV-10. Michelle has been recognized by the Illinois News Broadcasters Association, Illinois Broadcasters Association, and nationwide College Broadcasters Inc. for her reports. Michelle was raised in Skokie, Illinois. She enjoys spending time with friends and family.
